I have been a lazy blogger this trip. One excuse is that we have stayed very busy. (Another reason is that I have used spare time for fun.)
But what a week it has been. The medical team and pharmacy have seen more than 500 patients. And with three hours more today, we’ll probably pass the 550 mark. The dental clinic has done fluoride treatments and fillings in addition to extractions. The education team has been the delight of dozens of children. Most exciting of all is the work of the construction team. Yesterday they worked very long hours to help pour the concrete floor of the second floor of a new Episcopal church here in Copán — Santa María Virgen.
Almost time to head out for today’s work. More later….
